Individual bookings on the day, for casual visitors, should be made in the Professional’s shop but are subject to the availability of tee times. The Great John Jacobs ‘Doctor Golf’, always had a great affinity with Moortown ever since he selected the club as the home for his Golf Coaching Programs, televised by Yorkshire Television in the 60’s and 70’s. His last visit was during the clubs centenary celebrations in 2009 when he once again returned to televised coaching by instructing infont of the Sky Sports cameras.
